Crystal Carrollite

Carrollite is a rare and beautiful metallic crystal, which can be found growing amongst cobalto calcite all throughout the world. Its beautiful light to dark grey coloring pulls you in, especially as it sits among the pale creamy formations of calcite, which are also present in these pieces. Carrollite grows in an octahedral and cubic crystal system, as well as in compact granular form. Both systems are present in these gorgeous specimens.
