The term geode is derived from the Greek word Geoides which means \"earthlike.\" A geode is a round rock which contains a hollow cavity lined with crystals. Geodes are geological secondary structures which occur in certain sedimentary and volcanic rocks.

Avika Natural Energized Amethyst with Goethite lovely Amethyst has inclusion of Goethite in the tips, with beautiful golden needles in the form of flowers inside the Amethyst crystals. Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz, and is found in many locations worldwide, including Brazil and Uruguay. Amethysts first become known as a crystal to protect against drinking and addiction when the Greeks used it as a talisman against drunkenness. Their legend goes that the drunken God Dionysus set his tigers on the young Amethyst, and then, realising what he had done, turned her into a giant clear quartz crystal. His tears of remorse then stained the clear quartz purple, creating Amethyst.
