Rangoli

Rangoli is an art, it is also known as kolam, is a folk art from India. It is usually made during Diwali (deepawali), festivals (Oman, Pongal), marriage celebration, auspicious occasion and similar milestone and gathering. Rangoli color is made of saw dust. These colors are ecofriendly and chemical free. Rangoli are decorative design made on the floor near the main doorway of the house warded off evil spirits or living room and courtyard. The patterns are typically created with materials including color rice, dry flour, color sand or flowers petals. The purpose of Rangoli is to feel strength generosity and it is thought to bring good luck with positive vibes.
